Mike Rasbury
Submissions Manager/Art Director
Johann Margrave series
Mike hails from (and is hopelessly in love with) the Emerald City, Seattle, Washington. He spends his days as a freelance web and graphic designer and an instructor's aide at a local community college. His off time is spent as a massive football fan (all types, including "soccer") and is hopelessly enthralled with the Pac-10 and WAC (except USC because they're a snotty LA team).
What creativity he has (and he'll let you be the judge of that) he owes to a few distinct sources: beatniks and the art house culture (and the following/prevailing styles), theatrics/showmanship/illusionism, surrealism, Tokyo ultra-violence, international film, campy horror flicks and classic literature.
If you would like to submit a story or serial to Grapefruit: Pulp With a Twist please follow the Submission Guidlines at the bottom of this page.

Upcoming Projects
Settling, mostly for educational purposes, Tom situates himself in Louisville, Kentucky. Throughout the week there is little time for much else besides school and work, occasionally sleeping between his course load and the menial job as a package handler at the local UPS Hub. Sometimes he writes a little something here or there, but he hardly turns it in on time. Much like grade school homework, try as he might to complete something, he is an absent-minded bastard that forgets about it until last minute most days. What little time off he can manage outside of pretending to do his homework is spent reading pulp-fiction detective stories from the likes of Raymond Chandler, Mickey Spillaine, and a more recent author known to some comic book readers as Charlie Huston.
College Football is still something of a new obsession to undertake for Tom. A fan of the Fighting Irish Notre Dame as well as the Buckeyes of Ohio State most Saturdays he can be found in front of the television watching their exploits as well as ignoring other probably more important things he should be doing.

Cruel Entourage
Brent just made drinking age and is currently learning the joys of booze in all its myriad forms. He divides his time between a thousand different things and loves doing it because life isn't much fun if you aren't active. Somewhat of a workaholic, but not so much that he can't enjoy a good weekend romp of fun.
First fell in love with writing through comics at the age of eight. Now has a shrine of worship built to the character of Mr. Sinister. Hopes you'll build your own shrines for his characters one day. Definately likes to draw from everything around him with his writing and throw it all into a melting pot. Any quirkiness in his writing is owed to random dreams, thoughts, shower ideas and conversations.
Loves a good conversation so don't expect to hit him up and not get to talking.
